Wotif.com launched in Brisbane, Australia, and quickly became known as the online marketplace for hotels' distressed inventory. They pioneered selling discounted accommodation based on hoteliers' live and up-to-date inventory.
For Wotif.com, I was responsible for:

I acted as Sydney's Leader for the inaugural World Usability Day event in November 2005. The event was established by the Usability Professional's Association, but was supported locally by the non-profit CHISIG, the Government research agency, CSIRO, and a number of corporate sponsors.
The event was coordinated over 36hrs, starting in Australia and ending in the West Coast of the US. It comprised over 100 events in 36 countries, bringing greater awareness to the fact that we don't have to put up with poor design.
