I have been working as web developer for a few years now. I have got chances to work with all different types of programming languages. I started off as a window developer using C++.net, C#, Vb.net. Then i jumped to web area. Since then, I have pretty much all skills to develop a website using Classic ASP, or ASP.net 2003, ASP.net 2005 and now ASP.net 2008. From backend developer role, I have moved to front end for some cases, and that’s when I started using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax. Work requirements, I got a chance to learn and use Flash, Photoshop and now Silverlight 2.0. Besides, I have used SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 along the way as well.
My goal is to know more and always update myself to any new technologies like WCF, Sliverlight, etc.... More than that, I would like to become a system analyst down the track. I have learnt all different software development methodologies, and I hope that with my technical skills as well as my management skills I can be a great system analyst in the near future.

o I came on board as a UI developer. In first project, we used pure Javascript, css, html, and jQuery. I had the responsibility of the whole application lay out including Menu component, Tab component, some custom controls, as well as the animation. Besides, I got involved in communicating with the Business Analyst to analyse the input requirements and the out put expectation of the application. I also had to deliver some presentation for the managers to persuade them that all the requirements can be achived.
o Next, we had new requirement which is to upgrade the existing application we built to Silverlight, WCF and SQL 2008. Again as a UI developer, I took on challenge with Silverlight. We started with Silverlight beta 2.0, then Silverlight RC, and now the released version of Silverlight 2.0. In order to bring all the features we already implemented, once again we had to create all the components such as menu, custom controls, and animation. Talking to the business analyst also goes side by side with our development.
o As the silverlight 3.0 coming out soon, we are thinking of upgrade everything again from 2.0 to 3.0 in the very near future.
o To support the team working environment, we are using Team Foundation System (TFS) and Sharepoint. Currently, we’re using SCRUM methodology for the development.
