Corporate Communications
Adelaide Area, Australia
Looking back, project administration, library technician roles, claims management and web management have all helped my career develop to what it is today.
My passion for our community saw me working for the not-for-profit CISA Inc. This role encompassed knowledge management and business development with marketing/PR of community services eg Eventspool.
Moving into government - I provided strategic leadership for OCBA in ensuring the cost-effective provision of high-quality electronic (web), print and promotional resources. This included the Government of South Australia re-branding exercise.
As Communication Consultant for the Office of Public Employment I was called upon to provide communication advice, consultancy and support for the identification, planning and management of a plethora of high-level marketing and promotional strategies, specifically created to facilitate a positive professional image for the public sector.
Then as Senior Consultant Communication within Shared Services, Department of Treasury and Finance, responsibility was for brand and communications such as internal and external communications, including managing the agency briefing roll out to relevant government personnel (over 3000 employees).
As Communication Consultant for ElectraNet, my role is accountable for the effective analysis, development and delivery of business wide and stakeholder communications (internal and external), public relations, media, sponsorships and marketing initiatives. This includes a role in the management of project community consultations.
I also freelance as CharlieDesign and own the Dead Reds Wine Group - a group committed to unearthing great old wine.
