Frank Grasso is the Managing Director of e-channel online Pty Ltd. e-channel is a Search Engine Marketing company, with extensive experience in the online travel market. With a list of clients nationwide including companies such as Fairfax Digital and OctopusTravel, e-channel has experienced a 100% growth-rate for this quater. e-channel has also developed its own proprietary software for use in search engine marketing, through continued investment in R&D.Education. e-channel won the Australia IT Secrets Award for E-Commerce for 2005.
Frank has been in search engine marketing for 7 years, starting in Melbourne in 1999. Working as a search engine marketing consultant until 2002, Frank then moved to Adelaide and formed e-channel.
Frank has studied marketing at the University of South Australia, and is the non-executive director of WaterFind, a start up e-business.
In 2005, Frank was a feature presenter at TravelTech Asia-Pacific and SearchEngine Room. This year, he was a guest speaker for the Bed and Breakfast Association of South Australia in May, and has been asked to reappear at TravelTech Asia-Pacific for 2006.
e-channel recently launched Tuesday Island, a hotel accommodation website. Tuesday Island is an experiment to determine if there is room for another travel site on the web, and if it is possible for it to grow without an initial advertising budget. The site has been up and available on the web since May 1 2006. So far, Tuesday Island has made $22 profit. I have spent the last 7 years living and breathing search engine marketing. These days I delegate most of the technical aspects of search engine optimization to my programmers and tend to spend most of my time developing search engine marketing strategies for highly competitive markets.
