Liaise with the Courseware Coordinator, Programmer and Academic Staff on project developments and styling.
Conceptualise, create and develop graphical elements across a range of projects for print, multimedia and web-based educational purposes. Graphical elements include images, photomontage, banners, buttons, and icons.
Develop storyboards and animations using Macromedia Flash and Director.
Create fresh visual identities/branding and templates for different Schools within UWS that worked to complement the already established UWS corporate style.
Create simple instructions on how to use templates for Academic Staff and members of the EDC.
Conduct thorough testing of graphical elements and presentations in all their final environments.
Out source and liaise with print companies.
Photograph various events run by the EDC (includes photo re-touching, colouring, deep-etching, montage, and re-sizing for the web).
Organise and catalogue projects appropriately for easy team access.
Backup files on CD and DVD.

Skills: Having started this role whilst I was only in my third year of university I quickly grew as a professional Graphic Designer and set up the studio environment on my own. I was in charge of all aspects of the studio including ordering equipment, products, working with all key stakeholders and liaising with external printing companies.
