Starting with my first PC in 1979, I have always had an affinity with technology. Working internationally across large (100K+) and small organisations in both commerce and government, I have sought to bridge the gap between business and IT. I get particularly enthusiastic when technology makes life easier and more efficient, allowing us to be more human.
I now help people understand how social media and collaboration tools can impact their organisations.

Cool Hunter attracts a very discerning audience and a simple banner advertising model doesn't quite cut it. I introduced new revenue streams including site & newsletter sponsorships, transparent advertorials, custom publishing across 5 regions.

Primarily responsible for developing new business for the Traction eCRM platform - a new multi-channel, single customer view approach to customer engagement. Educating the marketplace directly and through digital agency partnerships I built a healthy sales pipeline and secured several premium brands such as Adobe, AVON, Val Morgan, AIMIA and Cadbury Schweppes.

I created and executed the digital strategy for this new media company which published eBusiness magazines (physical and online), ran events and research. This proved more challenging with first the 1.0 tech crash and then 9/11. We managed to grow our subscriber database to over 300,000 senior decision makers and keep them engaged enough for companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, HP to be loyal customers.
