I've been testing software for almost fifteen years in a range of industries and technical environments - Video games, gaming, telecommunications, banking and more. Extensive consumer product development experience has given me the skills to deliver an effective, efficient and humanised test approach.
More recently, I've spent six and a half years grappling with the challenges and dogma of agile software development. The lessons - That there's much good, and much that's important on which it has little to say.
I may be able to help if -
- Your test effort is slow, expensive and not able to adapt to change in the business.
- You feel your test effort isn't finding the problems that matter.
- Your test team doesn't seem to be engaged.
- Your test team needs to deliver more for less
- Your agile efforts are improving technical quality but not delivering business success
- You need to improve the real skills of your testing team.
- You'd like to learn about different approaches to automation that leverage the benefits of both machines *and* humans.
Test expert - Experience applying product development approaches to business IT environments to allow cost-effective testing. Tester training and coaching, exploratory testing, post-agile software development, rapid software testing, context-driven software testing, test automation, toolsmithing.
