I am internationally recognized and respected locally. I have over 20 years experience in IT and has gained a thorough understanding of software development, architecture in all its forms, project and development management and consultancy.
Although knowledgeable and very capable across a range of technologies my greatest skills lie in the areas of SOA, Enterprise Architecture and the Microsoft product stack. I have been awarded a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award by Microsoft from 2005 to 2008 for my knowledge and experience in the Visual Developer – Solutions Architect area, as well as my willingness to share this knowledge through writing and presenting. He is also now a member of the Microsoft Architecture Advisory Board – an elite group of Architects globally that work with Microsoft on mapping the future of Microsoft software and the Microsoft architecture community.
I also deliver presentations to customers and conferences on subjects such as Architecture, SOA, .NET, Web Services, BizTalk and EAI. Recent engagements include Gartner, Microsoft TechEd and bTell Enterprise Architecture conferences. He was Industry Track Chair for ASWEC 2007 and has been published in the Microsoft Architecture Journal.
I have designed architectures and lead teams that have built systems in J2EE and .NET of considerable size in terms of users (many thousands of concurrent users), or in size of value (single projects up to $10m in value). I have also consulted to many of Australia’s leading organizations across a range of domains on architecture, SOA, IT strategies and enterprise architecture.
In June 2008 I joined Object Consulting as National Practices and Productivity Manager where he is helping to guide Object to become the leading software company in Australia.
