As a relatively new convert to Social Media and Social Networking online, I set out to find out how to apply three key applications namely LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Since 29 December 2008 I have discovered what others out there have. That by combining the messaging speed of Twitter, the Professional reputation of LinkedIn and the Multimedia capability of Facebook you can not only build thee networks. You can also leverage the three together to great effect.
I have coined the term "Social Media Triangulation the Power-of-3."

As the TradeStart Manager at Penrith, Lance was responsible for the delivery of the Australian Government funded TradeStart New Exporter Development Program for first time exporters in the Western Sydney region.
He provided trade assistance, advice and facilitation to small & medium size businesses. Lance used his wide experience to provide guidance in business development and practical transport, logistic and distribution options for clients as well as assisting in a variety of marketing facets.
Lance utilised his four decades of experience in international trade, including time spent in the import/export area of two multinational manufacturers and operating his own customs and forwarding brokerage to assist SME’s with their export strategies and operational planning.
In his TradeStart role, Lance spoke at a number of events including Western Sydney Manufacturers Week, the Penrith Valley Business Expo and Austrade Seminars on Exporting.

Responsible for both imports and exports of the company, which also included involvement with Letters of Credit and other banking formalities dealing with imports and exports.
Inwards and outwards movements were both intercompany and to arms length suppliers and customers, with our major export markets being New Zealand, South Pacific Islands, Asia and South America.
Within 6 months of joining, the company was to move from Rosebery (close to the Ports of Sydney and Botany as well as the Airport) to Toongabbie in Western Sydney. Responsible for analysing the clearance and delivery needs of varied product ranges and formulate a workable logistics strategy for imports and exports.
