System Engineer / Problem Solver
South Brisbane Area, Australia
When I finished University I started working full time for a company that was understaffed (when I left the department had increased by 500%). Shortly after accepting the position I also started a company with 5 other people that I had worked with during university. Over the next 4 years I was able to try out new technologies at my start-up company and then implement them at my full time job. This meant that I was a driving force of change at both companies and ended up implementing a large number of technologies and then providing support for them.
One of my primary goals when I created a new “system” was to make sure that it was automated and managed by other employees. This is why I have had so much experience with so many different technologies.
