Oracle DBA on Oracle 10G RAC Extended cluster with Oracle Application Server and Peoplesoft Student Admin.
Wrote Perl script to allow refresh of databases across environments using RMAN to clone databases. This code was distributed initiated from a central server as a script scheduled from Grid Control. The processes would then shutdown the tuxedo on the application server along with the database to be cloned into. It then refreshed the database along with the COBOL code.
Developed a technical testing plan to load test the system when built using primarily open source tools. This was to test the entire infrastructure so was web testing the application.
Assisted to develop a DR strategy for the new servers
Assisted with failure testing of ASM across the extended cluster
