After 30 years in project management focused primarily on scheduling and PMOs, my primary interests are focused on training the next generation of PMs both for formal credentials such as CAPM, PMP, PgPM and PMI-SP and in areas of specific skills development around Scheduling, Earned Value and Communications.
I am also working to extend the knowledge framework used for project management to recognise the intrinsic complexity of managing people. This includes making stakeholder management the central tenet of project management and adapting traditional tools such as CPM schedules to work in an uncertain and communications rich environment.
