I'm an independent researcher, consultant, trainer and presenter with a passion for emerging technologies and their impact upon society.

In recent years my professional focus has been on Web 2.0 technologies and social software and their impact on teaching and learning. Most of my recent work has been in the education/elearning sector.

My current interest is in the potential of 3D virtual worlds and MUVEs and their impact on society and consciousness.

In Second Life I am known as Sean McDunnough.

In the past I have given presentations and run training on elearning, online tools, Web 2.0, social networking, blogging, RSS, podcasting, photo and video sharing, wikis and Moodle.
