This position involves consulting in the areas of integrated learning, knowledge management and educational technology standards, and implementation of integrated learning systems. There is a particular focus on the role of the independent repository, however, this is always informed by an holistic approach and understanding of the educational and corporate objectives. These functions have been undertaken in large international projects where the holistic design and implementation includes the interrelationships between competencies, learning objectives and object-based learning content. Current major projects are based in Australia, United States and Mexico with additional roles in projects throughout Europe and span education, industry and government sectors. There is also a strong involvement in the organisations that develop educational technology "standards", especially IMS and ADL and strong relationships with organisations S1000D, IEEE and AICC.

Recruited to design and manage the build of an advanced eLearning infrastructure. The platform was required to be standards-based in order to support interoperability with the 7 stakeholder universities as well as other external partner institutions and organisations. When completed, the platform was widely recognised as one of the most advanced end-to-end, SCORM-based systems that supported interoperability of data and content with the various partners. Our team designed and implemented the first example of the "SCO Fetcher" solution for cross domain scripting, resolved the separation of content and rendering and produced content development guidelines to ensure the content conformance. While technological innovation was important, the priority always remained in favour of the business challenges and the technology was simply a supporting platform.
