Diagnosed and repaired electronic circuitry in all video arcade gaming systems, including system boards, I/O boards, communication boards and mechanical controller assemblies. Installed, configured and optimized gaming software for arcade. Upgraded existing computer software as new versions were released by game manufacturers. Utilized DMM, soldering and de-soldering stations, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and diagnostic software for all repairs

March 1996 — July 1998 (2 years 5 months)
Worked in a semiconductor clean room environment following ISO 9000 standards. Built, tested, diagnosed and repaired all electronic and mechanical assemblies on photolithographic wafer aligners. Installed, examined, maintained and repaired faulty electronic circuitry, instruments used in control and flow systems such as:
• Transducers and vacuum switches for monitoring pressure
• Temperature sensors, interlock switches and proximity sensors
• Faulty wiring such as BNC cables, coaxial cables and CAT5 cables and I/O sensors. Utilized electronic schematics and pneumatic drawings, flow diagrams and written procedures for diagnosis and repair
• Limit switches, sensors and liquid flow sensors
• Optical sensors and micro switches
• Examined and tested faulty wiring, which included ribbon cables, coaxial cables, thermocouples for temperature, BNC cables/connectors for video and CAT5 for connection with company network
• Utilized electronic schematics/drawings, pneumatic drawing layouts, flow diagrams and all other written procedures and diagrams for diagnosis, maintenance and repair
• Verified and confirmed the validity and accuracy of our preventative maintenance procedures, drawings and schematics
• Utilized standard diagnostic tools including soldering stations, de-soldering stations, IC removal equipment, DMM, oscilloscope, digital control analyzers, proprietary vendor testing and monitoring software
Performed regular preventative maintenance to:
• Clean and calibrate instruments, sensors and interlock switches for proper operation
• Entered all data into electronic database
Utilized DMM, soldering and de-soldering stations, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers and diagnostic software
