Nick Sharrock's Summary

As 'self praise is no commendation' - following is an extract from another.

"Nick's passion for organisational development and leadership have led him to be a life-long student in this field, with a depth of knowledge and experience that make him an insightful, powerful partner to client organisations.

I particularly appreciate the way that Nick's passion for innovative and authentic approaches to leadership is balanced out by a no-nonsense, pragmatic understanding of how organisations work and how best to engage with them. This combination will support him in both supporting but also stretching the organisations he partners with.

As an individual, Nick is highly motivated and challenges himself to deliver his best in all areas, ensuring that he follows through and delivers on his commitments. He is supported by a strong team of professionals to deliver only the best to his clients and I would recommend him to any organisation looking for service providers in sustainable, game-changing leadership and OD work."

Nick Sharrock's Experience

Freelance Business Consultant and Interim Leader

Nicholas Sharrock Consulting

October 2008Present (6 years) Brisbane - London - Melbourne

In my freelance work I engage with organisations to close the gaps in process, to measure tasks and decipher the elements for success, and implement the practices for continual improvement.

I have worked with quite a number of organisations focusing on the planning and strategy of existing businesses and startups. I have a forte for writing business plans from an inert interest in business, business process, method, marketing, sales and strategy.

Whilst working in-house I aim to create a coaching climate and I engage employees around our common organisational goals and I raise awareness of the parameters that enable success.

Over the last several years I have adopted an interest in migration and have been working closely with Solicitors and Agents to advise and write business plans that will work to support the visa application.

My goal in this work is to maintain a full understanding of the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and to be a trusted advisor to my clients.
