Robert Redenbach's Summary
I help leaders and high-performing teams to manage risk and improve cooperation.
Some of the organisations that have hired me on multiple occasions include: Australian Property Institute, ANZ, Brambles Industrial Services, Griffith University, Laing O'Rourke, LM Investments, RP Data, Seagate Technologies, Suncorp Metway, Westpac and Zurich Financial Services.
There are three parts to my business:
1) I provide entertaining keynote presentations and after-dinner speeches at corporate events and business functions. These talks usually focus on the importance of a pro-active approach to benefiting from change.
2) I provide intensive communication workshops for existing and emerging leaders. In particular, my Straight Talkin' Teams workshop equips leaders and team members with practical tools for reducing conflict and improving cooperation.
3) On a select basis, I provide security services. Some of the projects I've managed include; conducting a comprehensive security audit for the NSW State Transit Authority; facilitating customised workshops in Kenya and Indonesia for Unity Resources Group; providing armed escorts for the US Department of State in Iraq, and formulating safety enhancement strategies for aid-workers in Afghanistan.

Robert Redenbach's Experience
Principal
The Kadre
January 1980 – Present (32 years 2 months) Queensland, Australia
Over the past 30+ years I've travelled to more than fifty countries and worked in over twenty. I spent six years in the ADF before going on to study martial arts full time in Korea, Japan and China and then managed a security company in Papua New Guinea. After PNG I taught my own system of defensive tactics to Nelson Mandela's bodyguard team in South Africa, Special Forces in Britain and the FBI in the United States.
During the build-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics I provided conflict resolution training to instructors from Australian special forces. Since then I've done specialist security work in places like Iraq and Afghanistan as well as write and deliver bespoke presentations for audiences ranging from small teams of aid-workers in Kenya to thousands of corporate delegates at the Sydney Convention Centre. Along the way Pan Macmillan published two of my books and I've been featured in BRW, UK Ultra-FIT and the Australian Financial Review – among others.
These days most of my business comes via long-term associates, such as ICMI and Unity Resources Group, but I assess new offers on a case-by-case basis and welcome opportunities to work with people who focus on high standards and great results.
