- Provided key consultative services in the root cause analysis for the Rio Tinto Cape
Lambert upgrade (CLU 80) Network outage that had a major effect on production. This
involved numerous visits on site, the installation of a new network monitoring solution
and the staging of a replica network in our lab for fault finding.
- Design and stage Proof of Concepts networks to clients with tailored network concept
test scenarios. POC I have already worked on for Rio Tinto Iron Ore is for
the upcoming Marandoo Project. I am currently working on the Rio Tinto iron Ore Cape
Lambert Upgrade B (CLU B) Proof of Concept.
- Provide consultative service for the design of mobile radio integration in
industrial mining networks to provide redundancy links for the mobile machines. I am
currently staging a POC to compare both the Proxim and Motorola PTP 600 radios as
providers of redundant links for mobile machines for the Rio Tinto CLU B Proof of Concept.
- Provide consultative assistance in the FAT testing and commissioning of
turnkey industrial Networking solutions such as the Brokeman Four Project with
Caliber Controls
